Notebook vs. Laptop?

This is more than a question than a comment, are "Notebooks" different from "Laptops"? And is one better than the other? I'd appreciate any kind of feedback about this. I know it may sound like a stupid question, but I just had to ask it!

This is a great question...a lot of people ask me this...Notebook computers and laptop computers are the same thing...small, portable computers that have built-in screens and keyboards...
